Ian has been a Financial Consultant with IG Wealth Management in St. John’s, NL since November of 2008. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® (CFP) as well as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining IG in 2008, he worked in the area of public accounting for several years. Ian completed his Chartered Accounting (CA) designation in Nova Scotia in 2005. 

Ian grew up in Bay Roberts and after finishing High School moved to Nova Scotia to complete his undergraduate degree at Acadia University. He lived in Nova Scotia for several years before moving back to NL in 2007. He now lives in Conception Bay South with his wife, Roxanne, and two children, Andrew and Kaitlyn. Outside of work, you can usually find Ian coaching one of the kids’ teams either at the rink or on ball field.
